Want to learn how to get a flat belly… without running into typical setbacks that will leave you STILL having that excess fat round your midsection?

If so, then in today's article I'm going to talk about 3 very common (and very DAMAGING) mistakes that will keep you fighting that belly fat… and losing the battle every time!Don't want to be a loser? Then continue reading to find out what you need to do to be a fat loss winner!

Alright, before I get into those mistakes I recommend you avoid (plus what to do instead), I just wanted to briefly talk to you about your belly. That sounded funny didn't it? (lol)

You see, most people desire to lose fat off of a particular area of the body (such as the legs, stomach, arms, love handles, etc.). But unfortunately, there is one thing that seems to get missed quite often. And that one thing is that you CAN NOT JUST LOSE FAT OFF OF ONE AREA!

But guess what? Clearly, that's not a bad thing! When you lose fat, you lose fat all over your body… and not JUST one area. There's nothing wrong with that, now is it?

Bottom line, when looking to get in shape, it's okay to have a goal to improve a particular area of your body, but what I'm saying is to just make sure that you DO NOT focus on just that one area of your body. Focus on improving your total body, and as a very nice side-effect, you'll end up improving that one area that's been driving you nuts!

Now, with that being said, let's get into those killer mistakes I recommend that you avoid… plus what I recommend you do instead…

The First Damaging Mistake – Eating the wrong foods at night…

First off, that common weight loss myth that you should never eat ANYTHING at all during the evening hours is nonsense!

Now yes, studies have shown that eating like normal during the day and fasting during the evening can actually cause you to lose weight, but that doesn't mean that the opposite will cause you to gain weight.

But of course… there is always a caveat…

It's not that you shouldn't eat anything, it's that you should avoid eating the WRONG THINGS at night.

Eating fatty and sugary foods too close to when you go to bed will cause a myriad of problems (such as sleeplessness, digestive issues, and fat gain).

The best foods to eat at night (that will actually help you with burning off fat) are:

  • Foods high in casein protein (such as yogurt, milk, and cottage cheese). If you are lactose intolerant, then just stick with the cottage cheese.
  • A modest amount of complex carbs (such as one slice of whole wheat bread).
  • And veggies.

PERFECT examples to combine those foods together would be:

  • A snack such as celery stalks with peanut butter.
  • A peanut butter sandwich.
  • Greek organic yogurt with crushed almonds sprinkled on top.
  • A small bowl of healthy cereal (no sugary cereals).

The Second Damaging Mistake – Thinking that you are an action movie star when it comes to exercising…

In action movies and T.V. shows, these guys may end up getting beat up, shot, injured, and so much more… and then will run, jump, punch, flip, and do everything under the sun to catch the bad guys. When it comes to fitness, most people think that they are just as invincible as these guys (and gals might I add) in those movies!

Listen, if you are injured, sick, or you have a physical condition, seek medical advice BEFORE doing any type of exercise! And then make sure you go light with your fitness regimen. There is no need to let pride get in the way of you taking proper measures to protect your body.

After all, how can you get in shape if you continue exercising through an injury, illness, or physical condition, without getting it fixed first? And then even worse, what if this stubbornness ended up causing you to not be able to workout at all for quite some time?

Also, when exercising, avoid doing the common things that can cause injury (such as bad form, not warming up, and not stretching). <== VERY IMPORTANT!

The Third Damaging Mistake – Choosing the wrong type of diet…

The wrong type of diet is any diet that forces you to significantly reduce your calorie and/or nutrient intake. These types of diets are the one's that are notorious for causing people to have a slower metabolism, yo-yo weight loss, a lack of energy, and just plain and simply feeling miserable.

Clearly, a diet such as the above will do you no good with losing belly fat, losing weight, and even more importantly… enhancing your overall health.

What's recommended instead is finding a diet that is properly balanced with eating the amount of calories your body needs to prevent it from feeling as if it is being starved (which causes a slower metabolism by the way), and has proper balance with the types of nutrients your body needs.

Healthy and natural diets will in fact get you not only the results you have hoped for, but will also improve your overall health… and your results are more likely to stay permanent (provided that you continue living a healthier lifestyle of course).

So as you can see from the above, eating the right foods at night, exercising smartly, and choosing the right type of diet will surely put you on the right path to getting a flatter belly, a trimmer waistline, a lighter body, a healthier body, and you'll get these results naturally, pain-free, and permanently.

BONUS TIP: Your digestive system…

Most people don't realize just how important their digestive system truly is. It is imperative that you play close attention to improving the health of your digestive system if you want to successfully burn off fat and lose weight. Otherwise, you run the risk of keeping fat on you… and you run the risk of having some serious health complications.

Some of the best things you can do to help improve your digestive system are:

  1. 1Drinking 3 TBS. of organic apple cider vinegar mixed with 8 ounces of water 3 times daily (preferably before meals). This will also help in decreasing your hunger as well!
  2. 2Getting more fiber in your diet (such as apples, quinoa, and beans).
  3. 3And drinking plenty of water (the recommended amount of water to drink is 1/2 your body weight in ounces).
