Everything on coachluke.com is written and reviewed by me, Coach Luke: a NASM-certified personal trainer (CPT) with Corrective Exercise (CES) and Performance Enhancement (PES) specializations, a NESTA-certified coach, a former collegiate track and field athlete, and a lifelong martial artist with 20+ years of coaching experience.
This page explains exactly how content gets made here, how product reviews work, and where the money comes from, so you can decide for yourself how much to trust what you read.
How articles get made
Every article starts with the research, not the conclusion. I draw on peer-reviewed studies, established exercise science, and two decades of coaching real people, and I write for the reader who has been burned by hype before. That means honest timelines instead of miracle promises, mechanisms instead of magic, and a clear answer to the question most sites skip: who should not do this.
Where the science is mixed, I say so. Where something is my professional opinion rather than settled research, I frame it that way.
How product reviews work
My product reviews follow a fixed playbook. I research every formula from the official product page and label: actual ingredients, actual doses, and what the mechanism can realistically support. Every review includes who the product fits, who should skip it, what it will not do, and relevant safety cautions. I only make structure-function claims, never disease claims, and every supplement review carries the FDA disclaimer.
Testimonials in my reviews are quoted verbatim from the official product pages, with names and dates as published there. I never fabricate, edit, or embellish a customer review. When a product does not yet have enough real reviews worth quoting, I say so and share my own coaching perspective instead, clearly labeled as such. Individual results vary; testimonials are personal experiences, not promises.
Prices quoted in reviews and shop pages are checked against the official store on the date noted on each page, and rechecked periodically. If a price on this site ever differs from checkout, checkout is current.
Where the money comes from
This site is reader-supported through affiliate links. If you buy through links on this site, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I am an independent LiveGood partner, and links to LiveGood products go to their official store through my referral link.
My reviews are honest and affiliated, and I keep those two things compatible the only way that works: by telling you who should skip a product, what it will not do, and when a cheaper basic (protein, sleep, walking) will outperform any supplement. No brand pays for placement, edits my conclusions, or sees content before it is published.
Medical boundaries
I am a certified fitness and nutrition professional, not a physician. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no article, calculator, quiz, or review is a substitute for care from your doctor, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, managing a medical condition, or taking prescription medication. The full health and medical disclaimer lives on the Legal Disclaimers & Policies page.
Corrections and updates
When research shifts, prices change, or I simply get something wrong, I update the page and move on; pages carry their price-check or update dates where it matters. If you spot an error anywhere on this site, I want to know: reach me through the contact page and I will fix it.
