Quick reference for LiveGood Ageless Renewal. The full review covers the complete ingredient list and the details in depth.
How do I use it? #
LiveGood’s directions: apply 1 to 2 pumps to the skin and gently pat in. It can be used on the face or any other area; avoid the eyes. Morning or night both work, after cleansing and toning and before moisturizer.
What’s in it? #
Niacinamide, tranexamic acid, mandelic and lactobionic acids, two peptides (acetyl hexapeptide-8 and nonapeptide-1), copper gluconate with zinc gluconate and magnesium aspartate, CoQ10, vitamins C and E, carnosine, witch hazel and four forms of hyaluronic acid. LiveGood does not publish percentages. It carries vegan and cruelty-free badges.
Is it copper glutamate or copper gluconate? #
The label lists copper gluconate, a mineral salt; LiveGood’s description says glutamate. Either way it is not the GHK-Cu copper peptide used in most firmness research, so treat the copper as a supporting ingredient.
Can I use it with the toner? #
Yes, but introduce it and the glycolic Herbal Radiance Toner a week or two apart. If you notice dryness or tightness, alternate nights. Finish with a moisturizer such as VitaGlow and, in the morning, sunscreen.
What does it cost? #
Members pay $14.20 a bottle on Subscribe and Save or $14.95 one time; retail is $29.95. LiveGood’s product page does not list the bottle size.
Who should patch test or check with a doctor first? #
Patch test on your inner arm for 24 to 48 hours first, especially with sensitive skin, rosacea or eczema, since it contains mild acids. Wear daily sunscreen while using it. See a dermatologist about dark patches that change, spread or bleed, rather than treating them at home.
How long until I notice anything? #
Brightness tends to show first, often within two to four weeks. The look of smoother lines builds more slowly over one to three months of daily use. Results vary.
What if it doesn’t work for me? #
