Quick reference for LiveGood BioCleanse Facial Cleanser. The full review covers the complete ingredient list and the details in depth.
How do I use it? #
LiveGood’s directions: apply 1 to 2 pumps to damp skin, massage over face and neck in circular motions to make a soft, creamy foam, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry. Use it morning and evening, then follow with serum and moisturizer.
What’s in it? #
Amino acid-based cleansers (sodium and disodium cocoyl glutamate) with sodium cocoyl isethionate and cocamidopropyl betaine, three ceramides (AP, EOP, NP) with cholesterol and phytosphingosine, niacinamide, a gentle level of salicylic acid, glycerin, panthenol, sea algae and blue lotus oils, jasmine and geranium. It is sulfate-free and carries a cruelty-free badge.
Which skin types is it for? #
LiveGood aims it at normal, dry and combination skin. Many oily faces do well with gentle cleansers too; if yours is very oily, start once daily in the evening. For heavy or waterproof makeup, remove makeup first, then cleanse.
Where does it fit in a routine? #
It is step one: cleanse with BioCleanse, then the Herbal Radiance Toner, Ageless Renewal serum and VitaGlow moisturizer.
What does it cost? #
Members pay $13.25 a bottle on Subscribe and Save or $13.95 one time; retail is $26.95. LiveGood’s product page does not list the bottle size.
Who should patch test or check with a doctor first? #
Patch test on your inner arm first if your skin is reactive. Check with your doctor if you have an aspirin or salicylate allergy, since it contains salicylic acid. It also contains geranium oil and jasmine, so stop if you notice stinging or redness. See a dermatologist for acne or any skin condition.
How long until I notice anything? #
The after-feel shows from the first wash: clean but not tight. Any change in how your skin behaves over time usually takes a few weeks. Results vary. LiveGood shows no member reviews for it yet.
What if it doesn’t work for me? #
Every order carries LiveGood’s 90-day money-back guarantee. See the guarantee explained for how it works.
