How much do I give my pet? #
The label dose is about 1 drop (0.2 mg) per pound of body weight, once or twice a day, mixed into food or water or placed in the mouth. The chart: 5 lb, 5 to 10 drops; 25 lb, half a dropper; 50 lb, one dropper; 75 lb, one and a half droppers; 100 lb, two droppers. Start at the low end and go slow.
Do not let your pet lick the dropper, since it goes back into the bottle. Adding the oil to food is LiveGood’s preferred method.
What is in it? #
Each 1 mL dropper has at least 10 mg of full-spectrum hemp cannabinoids, 500 mg per bottle, in an oil base (98% crude fat minimum), beef flavored. Full-spectrum means it contains trace THC, legally under 0.3%. Some older reviews mention a chicken flavor from an earlier batch.
Is it safe for cats? #
The chart starts at 5 lb and covers small pets, but cats process many compounds differently from dogs. For a cat, ask your vet first and stay at the very low end of the chart.

Every pet owner should ask the vet first, and especially if your pet takes any medication (CBD can interact with drugs), has liver disease or a health condition, is pregnant, or is very young. Studies in dogs have seen raised liver enzymes at higher doses, so your vet may want bloodwork. If your animal competes in drug-tested events, check those rules too.
What should I watch for? #
Stop and call your vet if your pet seems wobbly, overly drowsy, vomits or has diarrhea. Dogs are more sensitive to THC than people, so never go above the chart. CBD is not a treatment for pain, anxiety, seizures or any disease, and it does not replace veterinary care.
